REPRESENTATION

• Selnet represents the interests of Social Enterprises, raising their profile and promoting them as a business option
• As an advocate and representative on the regional Social Enterprise panel, Social Enterprise North West
• Working to influence the North West Development Agency and funding strands specific to the sectors needs
• Lobbying, influencing policy and improving understanding of the needs of Social Enterprises

MANAGEMENT and CO-ORDINATION

• Selnet provides services appropriate to members needs, including consultancy, training and grant information
• Creating opportunities for development and growth through the delivery of a full range of relevant business planning support and assistance
• Developing additional bespoke support for the sector
• Providing access to market through the 2009 Selnet trade directory
• Special rates for events, training, seminars and the Social Enterprise Loan Fund
• Procurement support through the Tender Readiness Audit Kit (TRAK) package to support long term sustainability by contracting with public sector bodies

NETWORKING

• Selnet offers membership to a Lancashire Network of vibrant social business
